E3 2016: Madden NFL 17 Announces New Franchise Features


Today at the E3 2016 EA Press Conference new details for Madden NFL 17 were announced. Among the news was big changes for the Franchise Mode. New for this year is Play the Moments, which allow you to only play important moments of the game. Most of the game is simulated and let’s you take over for the clutch moments like 3rd downs and red zone dives.

Off the field, players will be able to utilize new Franchise gameplanning to tailor their strategy to amplify their team’s strengths and attack their opponent’s weaknesses, complete with in-game boosts. New Big Decisions also surface important personnel decisions such as bringing players back from injury, signing free agents, negotiating new contracts and more.

Also announced was a new commentary team with the additions of Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis. Madden NFL 17 is scheduled to release August 23rd, for the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
