PlayStation’s internet-based live TV service, PlayStation Vue, just got easier to access today, adding Roku players and Roku TVs to the growing list of supported devices which already included the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, iPads, iPhones, and Amazon Fire TVs of both box and Stick varieties.

In more good news, Android devices support is “coming soon.” No exact date for when that’ll happen was given.

PlayStation Vue expanded its service nationwide earlier this year, offering packages which included between 55 and 100+ channels for $29.99 to $54.99 a month. Current network programmers include AMC Networks, CBS, Discovery Communications, Disney/ABC Television Group, ESPN, Fox, NBCUniversal, Scripps Networks Interactive, Turner Broadcasting and Viacom. Standalone network channels, including SHOWTIME and Fox Soccer Plus, are also available to users as a la carte offerings.

On top of that, PlayStation Vue subscribers get cloud DVR capabilities, unique in that with PlayStation Vue, users can “record hundreds of shows at once, with thousands of hours of storage, offering 10 times more storage than any DVR in the market today.”

A single PlayStation Vue subscription can used to stream on multiple devices simultaneously.

A student of games, I play a bit of everything because I like to see what’s out there. Nothing better than first hand experience when it comes to knowing about games. Current game obsession: Anything MOBA (Paragon, Battleborn, Heroes of the Storm), except, ironically, the most popular ones, LoL and DOTA2.

And yet still no Netflix support for PlayStation TV?! Damn.
