Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 Out This Week on PS4

Ultimate Alliance

Marvel surprised fans at San Diego Comic-Con with the announcement that Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 are coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. And to add a little more to the surprise both games will launch this week digitally.

Each game will cost $39.99 individually or can be purchased as a bundle for $59.99. The games will feature some improvements specifically to the UI as well as visual enhancements.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was originally released in 2006 with Ultimate Alliance 2 following in 2009.

The only question I have with this announcement is if these versions of the game will include all the various characters that were previously exclusive to a specific platform. The original Ultimate Alliance had exclusive characters on the PSP and Xbox 360. It would be interesting to know if all those characters will be included in this newest version of the game, but I guess we will find out Tuesday.

If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
