South Park: The Fractured But Whole Delayed Again

The follow up to South Park: The Stick of Truth has found itself delayed yet again. Yesterday Ubisoft announced that South Park: The Fractured But Whole is being pushed back to sometime in fiscal year 2018. That time frame equates to somewhere between April 2017 to March 2018.

The news came out of an Ubisoft earnings call with the publisher alerting the public later in the day with the following brief statement:

“South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in FY18. The teams at South Park and Ubisoft San Francisco are committed to pushing the envelope during development to deliver the best experience possible, and this additional time will allow them to do so.”

This is not the first delay for the game as it was originally slated to launch on December 6, 2016 before being moved to early 2017. This sort of falls in line with how The Stick of Truth was handled as that game was delayed multiple times though that was mostly due to the troubles with THQ.
