Chime Sharp Drops Next Week

The follow-up to Chime, Chime Sharp, is launching on February 21st for the PlayStation 4. The music puzzle game which is pitched as a cross between Tetris, music sequencer and a hypnotic dream, hopes to build upon the original game with new experimental modes and sixteen new levels.

Gameplay involves players building grids with blocks while a beatline reads those blocks as notes which allows players to remix melodies and make a track their own.

Chime Sharp features both original music and tracks from notable artists like CHVRCHES and Kavinsky. The game has been available on Steam for quite some time now so you can find plenty of gameplay on YouTube or watch the launch trailer below.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
