Marvel Heroes Coming to PS4 as Marvel Heroes Omega

The popular free-to-play PC game Marvel Heroes is making its debut on consoles this Spring under the name Marvel Heroes Omega. Originally released in 2014, the game has gone under quite a few name changes until it finally found its stride and success as one of the more popular free-to-play games on PC.

The action RPG/MMO hybrid is often compared to games like the Ultimate Alliance franchise or Diablo. The announcement was made on the PlayStation Blog and while it doesn’t go into much detail, they promise it will feature “one of the largest rosters of playable Heroes.” The game pulls from all parts of the Marvel universe with a cast of playable characters from The Avengers, Spidey-verse, and X-Men to name a few.

A closed beta is expected to start in the near future and the full release will happen sometime this Spring for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Take a look at the announcement trailer for a small taste of what to expect or find footage of the PC version to get a better idea on what’s in store.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
