Star Wars Battlefront II First Trailer and Release Date

Star Wars Celebration weekend is happening right now and it brought us the first trailers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars Battlefront II. Since this is a video game site though we will just focus on the Battlefront II trailer and information dump that accompanied it.

Star Wars Battlefront II is set to launch on November 17th for the PS4, PC and Xbox One. EA Access and Origin Access subscribers will get their Play First Trial on November 9th and people that purchase the Star Wars Battlefront II: Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition get their hands on the game on November 14th.

The game will feature a single player campaign that takes place in the thirty years between the destruction of the Death Star II and the rise of the First Order. Players will cross paths with Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren as well as new characters like Iden Versio, played by Janina Gavankar, who is the leader of the Inferno Squadron.

On the multiplayer side, Dice are working on modes that support up to 40 players that take place in locations from all three eras of Star Wars. Fans will be excited to hear that Criterion have built the space combat from the ground up for “galactic-scale” fighting. EA will have more to show this summer during their EA Play event during E3 week.

What are you more excited for after their first trailers, The Last Jedi or Battlefront II?

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
