Songbringer Coming to PS4 in September

A new action RPG inspired by The Legend of Zelda is coming to the PS4 on September 5th. Titled Songbringer, the game revolves around a planetary surveyor by the name of Roq who is exploring a planet in order to stop an evil force that he happened to wake up.

Featuring local two player co-op, players can expect hundreds of items to find, leaderboards, and procedurally generated dungeons.

Songbringer was developed by Nathanael Weiss of Wizard Fu Games and is being published by Double Eleven.

I played the game briefly at E3 2017 and it had the old school vibe of a Zelda game, but with the additional difficulty one would expect from a rogue-like style game. Luckily though the maps are generated by a six character seed which should help players find the perfect world to master and compete in the leaderboards which scores completion time, map uncovered and items found.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
