Sucker Punch’s New Game is Called Ghost of Tsushima
After years of waiting and asking “what’s Sucker Punch up to?” we finally have an answer and it might surprise you.
PlayStation’s Paris Games Week kicked off this morning and they started the show with Ghost of Tsushima, the latest game from Sucker Punch. Ghost of Tsushima is an open world samurai game that takes place in feudal Japan.
Nate Fox shed some light on the new game over on the PlayStation Blog, here is an excerpt:
“In 1274, the Mongol army invaded Japan, their first stop: Tsushima Island. In Ghost of Tsushima, you play as a battered samurai, fighting back against overwhelming odds. In the trailer, you see the leader of the Mongols, a guy I would describe as an “uncomfortably reasonable killer” trying to intimidate our hero. It’s all there, right in that little scene. The power and confidence of the Mongol Empire coming face to face with pure, lethal, samurai determination.”
Here’s the first trailer for Ghost of Tsushima:
