All the Yakuza games seem to find their way west sooner or later, the next one to make the journey (besides Yakuza 6: The Song of Life) is Yakuza: Kiwami 2 which is set for an August 28th release date. This recreation of the original Yakuza 2 has been completely rebuilt in the Yakuza 6 Dragon Engine and features a new translation that more accurately represents the original Japanese script.

Yakuza: Kiwami 2 is not only a remake because it features new content as well with Goro Majima as a playable character with his own scenario. The Goro Majima section will shed light on his journey between Kiwami 1 and Kiwami 2.

Yakuza: Kiwami 2 will be priced at $49.99 and is set to launch on August 28th.
