Days Gone will miss this year’s holiday season, but we knew that already. The wait to survive the freakers isn’t long though with an early 2019 release date set.

Days Gone will launch on February 22nd 2019.

The announcement was made by John Garvin over on the PlayStation Blog where he also revealed a new faction. The new faction are called R.I.P. which is a cult that worship the Freakers.

In addition a new trailer for Days Gone was released alongside the news.
