E3 2018: Hands-On Video - Trials Rising

Just after the announcement of Trials Rising at E3 I had a chance to play through a few tracks. The game shows off a new, more refined look with a ton of iconic locations available.

The tracks are global and as you move from California eastward all the way to Asia, they become more difficult. You’ll be playing in Yellowstone, by the Eiffel Tower, the pyramids in Egypt, the Great Wall of China, and more.

You’ll also be able to customize and share outfit and bike skins so you’ll have a ton of new looks to choose from. The Track Editor is back as well with a number of improvements that will be discussed at a future date.

The new Tandem Bike option is insanely fun. This allows two players to ride on one bike with each controlling 50% of the gas, brakes, and balance. I ran through two tracks with a developer in the backseat and quickly learned that it takes communication to make it work. It was an absolute blast as you can see in my video below.

Trials Rising is scheduled to release in February 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can sign up for early access to the Beta at the Ubisoft website.
