2K and HB Studios Partner Up For The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA TOUR

A few months ago we learned that after lying dormant the past few years, the PGA license is back in a brand new golf game from HB Studios with The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour. Today we’re pleased to learn that they’re partnering with 2K to do it.

Clearly this is something that’s been in the works for a while now and Greg Thomas, President at Visual Concepts said “With a solid foundation and talented team in place, we’re eager to leverage our collective strengths and make a notable impact for golf and simulation sports enthusiasts everywhere.”

The feature set listed looks great. For veterans of The Golf Club series you’ll find a whole host of improvements in the gameplay, swing mechanics, ball physics, and more. Now, with the addition of the PGA Tour license, you’ll make your way through the Q-School and Web.com Tour to earn the right to play in a PGA Tour season of thirty-two tournaments.

The tournaments will take place at famous PGA Tour locations such as TPC Boston, TPC Sawgrass and more. Each course has been recreated with an accuracy down to one-meter resolution and the game even includes the FedExCup Playoffs. Online multiplayer will also be available with any of the available courses for a group of friends in six different formats.

The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA TOUR is rated E and is available Tuesday August 28 for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with a physical version coming the Fall.
