Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 gets new Edition

Call of Duty remains one of the biggest franchises every year, and 2018’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was no exception. You don’t get to be that big without following certain trends, however, and with Battle Royale being the biggest thing in gaming in 2018 (and 2017), Black Ops 4 had to have its own version. Due to the yearly nature of the Call of Duty games, however, many gamers weren’t sure whether or not the new mode, Blackout, would eventually be available separately from Black Ops 4. Sure enough, Blackout is being split off, but in an interesting way.

The newly announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Battle Edition is the new Battle Royale mode, Blackout, and the ever-popular Multiplayer suite wrapped up in one package. That’s Black Ops 4 minus the zombie experiences. These aren’t stripped down versions of Blackout or Multiplayer either. They are each the full package, the entirety of Blackout and all of the Multiplayer modes and maps that come with the base game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Battle Edition is available exclusively on PC through Activision Blizzard’s Battle.net for $39.99, although until January 6, you can get this edition for $29.99.
