The Outer Worlds Announced

Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, co-creators of the original Fallout game, took the stage at the Game Awards to announce The Outer Worlds, their new single-player sci-fi RPG. A press release describes the narrative of The Outer Worlds by saying, “you awake from hibernation on a colonist ship lost in transit to its destination on the edge of the galaxy, only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the colony. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.”

Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment will bring The Outer Worlds to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. Check out screenshots and the official announcement trailer below.
