Metro Exodus Release Date Pushed Forward

Publisher Deep Silver has announced that Metro Exodus, the anticipated apocalyptic survival shooter which was previously set for release on February 22, has been pushed from that date. Instead of being pushed back, as one might expect when going up against the likes of Anthem and Crackdown 3, Metro Exodus is actually releasing a week earlier than originally planned, on February 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

To celebrate the milestone, the Metro team at 4A Games have released the chilling title sequence (no pun intended) for the shooter.

Deep Silver CEO Klemens Kundratitz, “Our fans have been waiting patiently for Metro Exodus ever since we announced the title at E3 2017. We had previously delayed the release date to ensure 4A Games had the time to deliver their ambitious vision for the game, but now we’re delighted to confirm that Metro Exodus has gone gold and we are able to bring the release date forward to February 15th, 2019.”
