FromSoftware has Two New Games in the Works

After releasing Déraciné for PlayStation VR this past September and with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice still on the horizon, one might think that Dark Souls and Bloodborne developer FromSoftware may have their hands full. Seems this may not be the case, however, as studio President Hidetaka Miyazaki, in an interview with 4Gamer.net (and translated through the internet), has confirmed there are two other unannounced projects also currently in the works.

In that interview, Miyazaki refers to a “3.5” game development lines, which started in 2016. The first of those games to be released was Déraciné (0.5), with Sekiro(1.0) being the next in line. That leaves two other development lines in the dark, which MiyaZaki confirmed as two new games yet to be announced. It is interesting to note that recent remasters such as Dark Souls Remastered and Metal Wolf Chaos XD aren’t included in those development lines.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, President: “That’s right, so if we go back to talk about the lines, at the time we had 3.5 development lines that were moving. 0.5 of that was Déraciné, and 1.0 was Sekiro. The remaining 2.0 are the unannounced titles. As for Dark Souls Remastered or Metal Wolf Chaos XD, those were requested by outside companies, so they are not included as part of the 3.5 lines.”

This is sure to kick up some theories on the good old internet forums. Could this be hinting at a Bloodbore sequel? I doubt it, Miyazaki has already said he wants to move away from that territory but prove me wrong! If you out there have any other, slightly more (or less) realistic, theories, let’s hear those in the comments or over on the PSNation Forums!
