Blackout Getting a New Map Tomorrow

When April Fools’ Day rolls around I never know whats real, but this story is apparently real.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode is getting its second map. The new map is an Alcatraz themed map called wait for it…Alcatraz.

The new map themed after the infamous island prison is a close quarters map which means it’s smaller than the OG Blackout map. Outside of variants, this is the biggest addition to Call of Duty’s battle royale mode since launch. For awhile Treyarch have been rather coy when it came to answering questions regarding Blackout receiving new maps, just sticking to adding to the original map instead.

PlayStation 4 players will be the first to play the new map when it releases tomorrow. And like other DLC to the game, other platforms will receive the content shortly after.
