September State of Play Date Announced

It’s that time again, everybody! Earlier this week, Sony announced that yet another State of Play livestream would be happening, and it’s happening soon.

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, and a quick teaser on Twitter (where all the true news lives), Tuesday, September 24, at 1:00pm Pacific/4:00pm Eastern, you can get another look at what plans PlayStation has in store for it’s players.

In this September State of Play, we can except to see some new game reveals, a fresh new look, and new content from Sony Worldwide Studios. Maybe we’ll get a few words about the recent Insomniac Studios acquisition, although that’s just speculation on this writer’s part.

This September State of Play will be also be on the lengthier side. PlayStation expects this one to hit at least 20 minutes. For reference, the first State of Play, back in March, was just seconds under that 20 minute mark, while the second, airing in May, was just 13 minutes. This being only the third State of Play, PlayStation is still looking to solidify their perfect time length. Also, the PS Blog post makes a note, yet again, that we shouldn’t expect to see anything for next-gen from this livestream.

Load up and get ready to see what’s new on PlayStation’s Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook pages, all the usual spots.

What are you hoping to see from the September State of Play? Let’s talk about this and more in the PS Nation Forums, on Facebook, and on Twitter using #AskPSNation.
