Fujii Coming to PSVR

Funktronic Labs has announced that their critically acclaimed VR game, Fujii, will be released for PSVR on December 10, 2019. Fujii focuses on the meditative experiences of gardening and exploring wilderness. It recently received the Best Game award at the VRCORE Awards in Shanghai and was featured in an LA Times article about video games’ relations to climate change.

A full description of Fijii from the press release and the PSVR announcement trailer are available below.

After emerging from a mystical tree, players venture out to explore three unique and magical biomes. Watering, touching, and musically interacting with plants and creatures throughout each biome restores its life-force, and expands the energetic rings of light that hover above. Each biome brings its own biodiversity and plant interactions, eventually leading players to the source of Fujii’s powerful energy well. Fujii also lets players gather a host of exotic seeds from its varied biomes, which they can bring home to cultivate and customize their own unique, otherworldly garden.
