Resident Evil 3 Announced

During today’s PlayStation State of Play, Capcom announced Resident Evil 3, a “completely reimagined” version of the the 20-year-old classic, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. This announcement comes in the same year that Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 released to critical acclaim, even receiving a nomination for Game of the Year at this week’s The Game Awards. Resident Evil 3 will release on April 3, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One devices, and Steam.

In addition to the single player campaign, Resident Evil 3 will include the 4 vs. 1 multiplayer game Resident Evil Resistance. The game was originally revealed under a working title at the Tokyo Game Show earlier this year. The gameplay will feature four “Survivors” working together to escape an experiment gone wrong at the helm of one “Mastermind.”
