Skater XL Coming to PlayStation 4

Easy Day Studios announced today that their skateboarding game Skater XL will come to PlayStation 4 later this year, coinciding with its previously-announced launch on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Since its release on Steam Early Access on December 19, 2018, Skater XL has garnered high praise from its large community which boasts over 50,000 players on its Discord channel. While Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions were announced in August of 2019, a PlayStation 4 version remained the most requested format by the PC community. The PS4 announcement trailer and further details from the press release can be seen below.

Skater XL is the first ever skateboarding title to give direct control of the feet and board at all times rather than canned trick animations, unlocking the creative potential of the player with sandbox-style gameplay. Create, combine, and style tricks as you hit iconic California locations where street legends have left their mark. Dive into the digital skate subculture with skate spots based on iconic real locations from the West Coast. With a huge modding community that has created thousands of maps, digital skate ezines, personal video parts, in-game brands, and contests, Skater XL celebrates the creativity and dedication of the skate community.
