Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 Remasters Announced

Today it was announced that Tony Hawk and Vicarious Visions (Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy) have partnered to bring the legendary games Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 to current-gen consoles later this year. The two games will be packaged together in remastered form for $39.99 USD and hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4th. A digital deluxe version with unique content and in-game gear will be available at $49.99. A collector’s edition will be available for $99.99 in the US, with the digital deluxe content and a limited-run Birdhouse deck.

In addition to the remastered visuals, the games will feature all the original levels, and several of the songs from the original soundtracks (no details as to which ones at this time). Also coming are original multiplayer game modes, both online and for local couch play. In addition, Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater modes are back. Finally, skaters from the original rosters return, including Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Rune Glifberg, Kareem Campbell, Jamie Thomas and Bob Burnquist.

The screenshots included are before and after shots showing how gorgeous the remasters are going to look. You can check out the reveal trailer below. We’ll let you know when more news drops for this exciting announcement.
