Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights - reviews
In the newest of the Scooby Doo video game series, Scooby and the gang find themselves reluctantly (Scooby and Shaggy at least) helping to solve a kidnapping in, you guessed it, a haunted house. Nobody ever said we loved Scooby for the in-depth plots.
The game boasts the same greats voices that we have come to expect from the cartoons but features some interesting extras such as: Tim Conway (I), Don Knotts, and the great Tim Curry.
The gameplay is easy and fun (what could be more fun than Scooby Doo?). However, the music and sounds are weak and repetative. The graphics are poor to say the least, I'd be impressed if this game were on a PS1, but a PS2 game should be better.
The controls are bunk. All I want is to be able to control the camera. Is that too much to ask? The camera moves itself sometimes, could giving the player camera control have been that difficult? I think not.
I didn't like that I could not control the camera angles. But, good in-game hints; always know what to do next. All in all, I enjoyed it. review By: RES
