II. Introduction
This Walkthrough is for the "Against all Odds" difficulty of this game. This
should help with all the settings though. The walkthrough is still missing 3
chapters that I am currently working on strategies for. This is my first team
type game to make a walkthrough for. My tactics are sometimes good and
sometimes you may be better off having your own. I do recommend anytime you
can sneak up on enemy soldiers do so. This is mainly to help you know where to
go and what to disable/take down first
IIa. Tips
1. If you have new recruits near by that you have not recruited and you have
wounded instead of healing them just recruit new people.
2. Whenever you are in your rebel base (Except for the first time) in the
area next to where the map is you can get various weapons to choose from.
3. The main three soldiers you want to look out for is the ones with the red
hats on (I assume it's the commanding officer of the group of soldiers) and
the ones without hats (I assume they are the elite soldiers). They are the
two most aggressive soldiers and the ones without the elite ones usually come
right up to your recruits and strangle them also using them as a human shield
in the process.
4. Always send your troops first into unfamiliar territory to protect your
health.
5. If you are at a very large area/room with many enemy soldiers in it you
may want to try using a divide and conquer tactic on the soldiers.
III. Walkthrough

Chapter 1: "Soviet Domination"

Intro Scene
Area 1: "Manhattan Invasion"
1. When you get control Quickly run out the doorway to your right and out
the front door of the apartment.
2. You will see a soldier frisking one of the guys along the wall to your
left. Go over and hit him (R2) until he is dead. The guy that was being
frisked will talk to you.
3. Follow after him once he starts running down the hall to the left.
4. Once you exit out the door you will need to climb up (L1) a few ledges.
5. Kill the Two soldiers to your right if your trigger happy buddy doesn't do
them in first that is.
6. Follow him down the stairs to the right and when you get to the bottom
there will be some soldiers down below near explosive barrels. Aim for the
barrels (L3 push in the left analog stick) and shoot them to take care of
those soldiers.
7. Quickly make your way all the way down the stairs and get the guns of the
soldiers you just blew up.
8. Grab the Medic kit behind the ambulance and use it (R3 and left analog
stick and R1 to use it).
9. Get the two Medic kits on the right side of the ambulance and continue to
follow the guy out to the street. Cross the chaotic street and go left along
the sidewalk. When you get to the corner turn to the right and follow the
sidewalk. You will see an injured man (with a first aid cross over his head)
ahead of you on the sidewalk. Stand near him and heal him. Once you have
healed him he will join your group.
10. Follow the guy you were originally following into the doorway that is
near where the injured guy was sitting. Follow them up the stairs and go into
the first doorway that is open. Go to the left down the hallway and grab the
Molotov bottle to the right of the door at the end of the hall.
11. Equip your Molotov and go out the door he opens. Throw the Molotov
bottles at the guys taking cover behind the crates. If you aren't very good
at throwing the bottles just shoot the guys. Once you have killed the guys
drop down and go to where they were and to your left will be a couple guys
shooting at you. Shoot the truck to get rid of them very fast. Follow your
fellow freedom fighters to the manhole cover at the end of alley to the
right. Stand near the manhole cover and push X to use your wrench on it.
Scene
Area 2: "Brooklyn Rebel Base"
1. Go to the table with the map on it in front of you and push X when near
it. You have two areas to go to the Police station and the Post Office.
2. Go to the Police Station first.
Area 3: "Brooklyn Police Station"
1. Go straight down the alley and turn left at the street. Go straight down
this street and at the intersection turn right. Go to where the guys are
behind a over turned truck shooting at snipers. talk to the Policeman on the
left and then grab the C4 on the ground to your right. Go back to the Manhole
you came out of and use it to go to "Another Location". Go to the Post Office
now.
Area 4: "Brooklyn Post Office"
1. Go down the alley to your left and talk to the Tagger (with the spray
paint). Continue down the alley the way you were going and turn to your left
take care of the two guys you find here. Pick up the rifle and ammo they drop
and to your right you will see a large red Gas Sign. Go that way and turn to
the right. You will see two very large fuel tanks ahead of you. Use your C4
on the right one and head back towards the alley you used to get here from.
Go to the Manhole near the gas pumps and go to "Another Location" the Police
Station again.
Area 5: "Brooklyn Police Station (Second Visit)"
1. Go to where you got the C4 and talk to the Policeman. Along the sidewalk
to the left you will notice a subway tunnel entrance. Go down into it and
kill any of the guys you run into down there. Go up the stairs on the far
side and talk to the policeman at the top of the stairs.
1a. If you are the type of person that doesn't like to sneak in the backdoor
of a building so to speak and would rather go in guns a blazing more direct
approach you can get into the police station through the front door you will
just need to kill all the soldiers guarding the door.
2. Look to your right and you will see a blue parking sign. You need to
crouch-walk and go into the door that is under that sign to the left.
3. Go down the ramp to the right and into the parking garage. Kill the two
soldiers you run into here (you can get a Medic kit near the ambulance) and
then go up the stairs and into the door you see to your right. Follow the
path to your right into the Police Station. Crouch-walk behind the counter
to your left. Get the items and weapon you find here and kill the soldiers
you see at the top of the stairs. More soldiers will show up and take care
of them until the stairs are clear of soldiers. The best way to do this is
just back away and your aiming reticule should be slightly over the counter.
Pick them off as they show up and you should take very little damage.
4. Once you have taken care of them go up the stairs and take out any guards
that might be shooting at you at the doorway ahead. That is just so none of
them will shoot you in the back when your going up the next stairs. Go up the
stairs and then up one of the bigger flight of stairs. Clear this hallway of
soldiers at the top of the stairs and search this floor for any items. Once
you have looked around go up the next flights of stairs that are located on
the ends of the hallway. Go up to the next floor that the doorway isn't
blocked by boxes (if the doorway at the next floor is blocked you went up the
wrong staircase). Clear this hallway of soldiers and go to the far end of
this hall and into the hallway to the right. You will know it's the right
place because Isabella will call out to you. Go into the door on the left at
the end of the hallway and go over to Isabella to free her. Go out the
doorway near her and over to the flagpole that the Russian flag is hanging
from. Go near it and put up the U.S. Flag (X).
Mission Complete!
5. Go to "Another Location" and head back to the Post Office.
Area 6: "Brooklyn Post Office (Second Time)"
1. Now Follow Isabella to that doorway that the guy is guarding that you
passed by when you were here earlier. Go inside and continue to follow
Isabella to an apartment that overlooks the enemy base. You now have the
chance to recruit some Freedom Fighters. Recruit whoever you want to and
go to the bottom of the stairs you used to get up here. You will find a door
opened. You can send your fighters out (triangle) or you may just want to
shoot the barrels near the soldier that you can see from the doorway. There
is also a wounded man just to your left as you go out the door behind the
car.
2. Climb up the stairs of the container that Isabella tells you to get up on.
You will want to pick off the guards you can shoot from here. You have a
choice here (Look at your map you can either go south to the words "Post
Office" at the bottom of that red building or you can go north along that
red building and climb onto a box to get onto the roof of a smaller
building next to the post office)
Option 1:
a. Use your map and head for the Words Post office on the Map. Check your map
and you should be on the word Post. Go past the barrier in front of you and
head into that lower area to your right and crouch. Send your guys out to
shoot and distract them while you shoot the various things near the enemy
soldiers that will blow up (Like barrels and trucks). Once you have cleared
the area of soldiers you will want to go into the cargo doorway that is
opened that the soldiers were protecting below the sign that says "US Post
Office". Be sure to pick up any Medic Kit(s) you see around this area.
Option 2:
b. Use your map and go north along the wall of the red building away from the
words "Post Office" on the map. Climb on the box you find here and up onto
the roof of this smaller building. On the other side are some soldiers you
can send your guys to kill. Drop down off that side of the building and head
to your right use the trucks and barrels to blow up some of the soldiers that
you can see. Go into the open cargo doorway of the "Post Office".
3. There is two Medic Kits in the corner of the room you entered. Go through
the doorway to the right and head up the stairs you find here. You will find
your brother at the top of the stairs. Go up to him to free him. Continue up
the stairs to the roof and hoist the flag up like you did at the police
station.
Mission Completed!
4. Go to the Rebel Base.

Chapter 2: "In A New York Minute"

Area 1: "Brooklyn Rebel Base (Second Time)"
1. Go and use the Map.
2. Go to the "Hotel" Area first
Area 2: "Brooklyn Hotel"
1. Go straight and help clear the Soldiers that are charging at the freedom
fighters here in the parking lot.
2. Once you have cleared them go towards the street that they were coming
from and instead of going out to the street go down the alley that is right
before the street to your right.
3. You should see an open window up to your left. Climb up on the dumpster
and onto the roof of the building near that window. Quickly go into manual
aim (L3) and instead of aiming for the soldier you see through the window
send out (Triangle) any recruited soldiers you recruited to the far wall of
the hallway that the soldier is guarding. This is basically a preemptive
strike on the ambush that is waiting for you at the end of the hallway.
4. Climb into the window and go into the first door that is open on your
left. Heal the soldier you find in this room. If you need medic Kits,
molotovs or another recruit you will want to go into the next door and go up
the staircase. From the room that you healed the soldier in look directly
across the street you will see three windows. Manually aim for the far right
window in the middle of it and send your guys there (make sure the pointer is
inside the room). Doing this will take out the snipers in that building. You
will notice from this room you can go down the slope of rubble and head
across the street to the doorway below those three windows (where your guys
you sent entered that building from).
5. Go into that building and up the stairs and grab the sniper rifles that
are near the window. I recommend not staying at the window very long as you
will be shot at by the many soldiers guarding the diner. You need to get into
that diner and retrieve the C4. Here are three options that I have used for
clearing the guys near the diner:
Option 1
Go outside of the Sniper room and be crouched down. You will want to put your
guys in defend mode one facing at the door you came out of and one towards
the street. Use your Molotovs and throw them at the diner entrance. You
should be able to take out plenty of those soldiers without them even shooting
at you. You just need to aim high and then check with the camera to see if
you threw it at the right place or if it hit any soldiers.
Option 2
Send your guys outside of the sniper room to shoot at the guys near the
diner. While they are shooting at your guys you can pick them off with
the sniper rifle. This way tends to bring more attention to yourself.
Option 3
Place your Fighters at the top of the stairs of the sniper room and shoot or
let one of the guys at the diner see you. When you do this the soldiers will
usually sneak over to your building using the stairs that your guys are
guarding. They don't seem to be very bright when it comes to climbing up
stairs.
6. Take notice of the injured soldiers that are near the doorway of the
sniper room. Heal the soldiers that are next to the Sewer Entrance if you
want (you won't get charisma for it). You will also want to talk to the guy
that is near the doorway. Once you have cleared the soldiers from in front of
the diner sneak across the street and down the alley to the right of the
diner (I say quietly otherwise you will attract the attention of the soldiers
at the top of the hill). You will see this alley continues on but for now you
will want to manually aim inside the backdoor of the diner and send your guys
in to kill off any remaining soldiers.
7. Grab the C4 on the counter closest to the front door of the diner (you may
need to climb up on the counter to get all the C4). Go out the front door of
the diner and use the machine gun that is facing the hill to take out any
guys coming down the hill. Once the hill is clear go across the street and
use the Sewer Entrance to go to another location.
8. Go to the "Harbor" Area.
Area 3: "Brooklyn Harbor"
1. Go straight and you see that big building ahead. You will want to follow
the wall of that building to the right. Before you do that recruit some
fighters here. Now go along the wall of that building and go in the first
doorway you come to on your left. Follow this hallway to the end. At the end
you will see a small staircase and a door to your left go in that door. Go
up the stairs here and in the door to your right there is plenty of ammo and
grenades in here. Send your guys out the window outside of this room and kill
any guys that come up the stairs before you go out the window.
2. Take care of all the guys that are around this area guarding the
helicopter. Watch out for any guys that may climb up onto this roof also.
Once you have cleared the area face your back to the window you came in and
drop off the roof on the left corner of this roof to get down. Go up to the
helicopter after placing your guys at the ramp of the helicopter to ward off
any unwanted guest and set the C4 where prompted on the side of the
helicopter. Once the C4 is placed run away quickly with your men. Go back to
the Sewer Entrance and use it. Take the same route you took to get
to the helicopter if you want to avoid extra fighting.
3. Go to the "Fire Station" Area.
Area 4: "Brooklyn Fire Station"
1. Go into the open garage near you to recruit some guys and heal a wounded
man. Go out and you can either go left through the building or to your right
and climb up on the dumpster. I preferred going right as it was easier to
kill the guys before they even knew you were there. Climb up on the roofs of
these buildings and take out the soldier ahead of you on that defensive green
platform. Take notice of the double doors that open to the right if you need
a medic kit you can get one in there. Drop down from the roofs and go up on
that green defense platform. Take out as many guys as you can with the
machine gun up here and then head down to the street the guys were coming
from go down this street along the left side of the road. Take care of any
guys you may run into along this road. Use the cars as bombs to take them out
faster if they are standing near one. Along the left side of this street you
will come to a tall building with a portion of it mission on the side of it.
Climb up it and take care of the snipers in the room up here. Look out the
window the snipers were overlooking. Snipe any guys you can from here and
then head down from here. Follow the street to the left and take out any
remaining men. When you reach the broken bridge head to your left first and
open up the sewer entrance. You can also get more recruits here if you need
them. Once you have done that go back to the bridge and into the doorway you
see ahead of you. Go down the stairs making your way down to the lower area
of the bridge.
2. When you go out of the door at the very bottom you will want to head left
along the tracks. When you reach the bridge take out the guards that are
guarding it and then plant the C4 at the base of the broken pillar. There is
an open train car nearby with medic kits if you need them.
3. Continue down the tracks (watch out for the train of course and soldiers
that appear on the slopes on the left/right side of the tracks) along the
right wall and climb up the small building you find here. Go into the hole in
the wall that is at the top of the slope. To your right you will see more
recruits if you need them and a Sewer Entrance to open. Once you have done
that head down the alleyway to your left. At the end go right. To your left
will be quite a few soldiers around the corner. Take care of them and head
out to the street go to your right down the street making your way to the
Fire Station. Use the building on the left with the big pillars as cover. You
can find some recruits behind the dumpsters to the left of this building.
Once you have cleared the guys near this building Climb up on that green
defensive platform on the far side of this building. Shoot the gunner on the
Fire Station roofs. Once you have taken care of him look down and you will
see one of the doors are opened. Go down and into that door.
4. Go through the door in the back of the room here and out the door to your
right where the fire truck is. You may want to throw a grenade in the room
with the fire truck to make the truck explode or shoot it to take out quite a
few soldiers. Make your way across this room to the stairs on your left. Go
across this balcony area to another stairs on the far side. Make your way
through the firemen's uniform room and up the stairs to the roof. There are
some medic kits up here if you need any. Go over to the flagpole to your
left and Hoist up the U.S. Flag.
Mission Complete!
5. Head to "Hotel" Area again
Area 6: "Brooklyn Hotel (Second time)"
1. Heal the wounded soldiers now to have them follow you.
2. Go down to the end of the alleyway to the right of the diner. Go up the
stairs to the right and Climb over the wall using the dumpster here. Clear
the soldiers you find here and you will see the prisoners you need to save
here. Before saving them though head to the left of the prisoners and into
the open doorway at the end of this alley. Go up the stairs and into the
door you come to. Send your guys in to kill the sniper. Snipe any guys that
you can especially in the hotel, the green defensive platform and any of
the soldiers on the street in the far distance. Take notice of the bright
window to your left in the distance there is a sniper in that room.
3. Go back to where the prisoners are and climb into the window of the
building just to your left before you get to the prisoners. You can find some
medic kits in here and also take out a couple more soldiers from the window
in front of you. You can use the machine gun that you see outside of this
window to take out the sniper if your a good shot or you can wait and sneak
up on him from behind which I will mention in a bit.
4. Now go and free the prisoners by opening the gate and going over to them.
You have two choices here:
Option 1
Take the soldiers to the Sewer Entrance you first got here from.
Option 2
Put your back to gate you just opened and follow the alley to your right to
the street. Go into the building to your right with the hole in it if you
need more recruits. Cross the street quickly and use the Sewer Entrance you
find down the alleyway here. Be sure to exit (triangle) out of the Another
Location menu to let the prisoners go down in the sewers. There is also a
recruit at the end of this alleyway if you need one.
5. Climb up on the dumpster next to the building that is near the sewer
entrance and look up at the building with a big hole in it. Climb up into
that hole and sneak up on the sniper in this room if he didn't notice you
crossing the street that is. Snipe any soldiers you can from here and then
head back down to the street or you can jump out the window onto one of those
green defensive platforms. When you are out on the street the hotel is to
your right. Heal the guy that is injured in the middle of the street if you
need him to join.
6. The street should be pretty bare now the last thing to do is to storm the
hotel. Head into the front door of the hotel. Watch out for the room full of
soldiers to your right as you enter the hotel. Send your guys up to the top
of the big staircase (Manual aim for the door at the top of the stairs and
send your guys there) to take out any remaining soldiers. At the top of the
stairs you can go either way around the balcony they go to the same place.
Locate the flagpole outside of the three big openings you come to and hoist
the U.S. Flag.
Mission Complete!
6. Head to your final area to complete the "Harbor" Area.
Area 7: "Brooklyn Harbor (Second Time)"
1. After recruiting your team go back to the sewer entrance and go straight
past it down the alleyway. Go left at the end of it and make your way across
the street. To your left you should see open doors. Use the machine gun near
those doors to take out as many soldiers as you can and then go inside those
doors. Go up the stairs to the first open door you come to. Go out into the
hallway and go into the door slightly to your left to heal a wounded man.
Leave this room and head right to take out a sniper at a window.
2. Go back and follow the wall on your left to a fire escape. Send your guys
out to the fire escape to take out the sniper. Quickly call them back in and
put them in defend mode. Throw grenades or molotovs out the window to take
care of some of the guys guarding the area at the bottom of the fire escape.
If some of them start coming up the fire escape run behind your guys and let
them deal with them. Once you have less people to deal with out there send
your guys out to clear out any remaining soldiers. Go down the fire escape
and go up the stairs that you can see along that wall to your left. Go up the
stairs and to your left If you are still able to recruit or need to get new
recruits and go into the doorway on your right to find some fresh recruits.
2. If you don't need recruits send one of your soldiers to use that machine
gun that is in that enclosed area near the stairs to take out as many
soldiers as you can to clear the way to the warehouse buildings. Once you
have cleared the area go over to the far right gate that leads into an area
with shipping containers. You should be able to see the flag from this gate.
If you need recruits, to open the sewer entrance here, molotovs or medic kit
head to your left. If you do not need them then go straight and into the
warehouse building to your left. Go to your left through the doorway and send
your troops into the doorway to your right to clear the large warehouse room
of soldiers. Head up one of the ramps in this room and locate the large
doorway up here and heading towards the next warehouse building to your
right.
3. You will see to your right a large room with a ramp on the far side that
leads up to a truck (just so you know what room I'm referring too). Clear the
soldiers in that room using the trucks as bombs if you can and use the sniper
rifle you get here to take out the snipers on the building with the flag. Go
up that ramp with the truck at the top that I referred too. Go up the ramps
at the back of the truck to roof and hoist the U.S. Flag.
Mission Complete!
4. Head back to the Rebel Base.

Chapter 3: "Breaking Free!"

Area 1: "Brooklyn Rebel Base (Third Time)"
1. Go and use the Map.
2. Go to the "Warehouse District"
Area 2: "Warehouse District"
1. Don't bother recruiting anyone yet. Walk over to the edge of the bridge.]
Set your C4 when prompted. Quickly head to your right along the river and at
the end drop down to where a recruit is. Climb up on the ledge he is facing
and go left. Get a little onto the bridge you come to and place your C4 when
prompted. Go back to the Sewer entrance you started at and go to the "Movie
Theater".
Optional: Dive in the water from the first bridge you destroyed and climb
up on the ledge to your left. Go up the stairs and kill the soldier here if
you haven't already. Talk to the woman without letting anyone see you and
follow her to a open door to gain some extra charisma.
Area 3: "Movie Theater"
1. Recruit the two you see to your right after they kill the soldier charging
them that is.
2. Go on the left side of the street and tell your troops to defend. Move
towards the silver rectangular box near the car farther up the street. You
will see three soldiers walking to the right of the screen. When they reach
the explosive barrel shoot it with manual aim to send them flying.
3. Send your soldiers to the area to the right of the debris in the center of
the street near to where that barrel was. Now manual aim towards the corner
to your left. More soldiers will appear from here while your team is
distracting them. Take them down as they appear to shoot your team. Once you
have cleared them go around the corner to take down their General (the
soldier in the red hat). This of course is only if your team hasn't already
taken him down.
4. Go up the stairs that you find around the corner and you will want to
sneak or run along the fence to avoid being shot. Go straight and recruit
more men/women. Use the Sewer Entrance if you need to save here also. Send
your bigger team now into the open doorway that is near by. Make your way
through this building (there is only one way to go). Send them ahead of you
at every turn. When you reach the doorway on the other side. Don’t step
outside yet. Manual aim to the open doorway (the stairs preferably and send
all of them there). Quickly run across the street and into that building (You
may wonder why I say quickly it's because there is a sniper on the building
you are now entering).
5. Make your way up the stairs and on the way you will find an open door to
your left for more recruits, medic kits or Weapons/molotovs. Continue up the
stairs to the roof. Send your team out to the roof before you go out and then
go out to your right send your team to the right on the roof to take out
another soldier. Stand near to where the soldier was and use the camera to
look off the edge of the building. You will see a helipad, the fire escape
you use to get down to it and if you look to your right some soldiers behind
a fence. I recommend using grenades or the sniper rifles to take care of most
of those soldiers guarding the helipad. Use the trucks and explosives barrels
at the right time to take out more then one at a time. Once you have cleared
away most of the soldiers at the helipad manual aim towards the helipad ramp
and send your troops there. Go down the fire escape and at the bottom you may
want to take out the remaining soldiers out on the other side of the fence.
Go to the Helipad and Use your C4 on it when prompted. Run away from the
helipad quickly and head for the underground garage that is to your left if
your back is to the helipad ramp that is. Inside this garage you will find
some recruits and some medic kits/molotvos. Use the Sewer Entrance you find
here and go to the "Power Plant" area. You can go and take over the Movie
Theater now if you want. I do recommend waiting though to make it a little
easier.
Area 4: "Power Plant"
1. Quickly run forward and recruit as many of the recruits as you can while
crossing the street before they get killed. Have them follow you to get them
away from the gun battle that they will surely lose. Climb up on the truck
that is near them and get on the roof of the building. Manual aim and send
your guys passed those barricades to your left to clear the soldiers on this
roof. Go to the balcony area passed those barricades and take care of all the
soldiers down below. You may want to use a grenade on the machine gunner on
the top slope to the left. This will make him get away from the gun and
quickly send your troops up there to get rid of him. Go down the stairs once
you have cleared the area and head straight ahead to find some wounded
soldiers and a sewer entrance. Only heal the soldiers if you need more
troops.
2. Go down the alleyway that the sewer entrance is at and climb up to the
street at the top of the wall in front of you. Clear any remaining soldiers
that are here before going to your left. You will see a destroyed bridge you
need to go under.
3. Follow the street to the other side of the bridge and you will find more
recruits on the other side of it. You will also find a hole in the wall of a
building to your right that you will want to go into. Before entering that
hole manual aim to the far left window on the second floor and aim for the
window that you can see through it. Send your troops there. This will take
care of any soldiers that might be up there. Follow your troops into the hole
and up the ledge to your right. Go to the window that you sent your troops to
and you will see a Transformer tower beyond the wall that the recruits down
below were/are standing near. Grab the sniper rifle that the sniper drooped
near the window and shoot as many guys as you can in the transformer tower
area.
4. Once you have done that jump out the window that you found the sniper
rifle at and let your troops stay where they are for the moment. Sneak over
to the transformer tower to plant the C4. Run back to where you troops are
and once the tower is down send your troops to kill off the remaining
soldiers guarding this area.
5. Go to the far side of this area where the machine guns are at and you can
get medic kits and grenades if you need them. Leave this area by going out
the gates nearby. You will see in front of you a street that ends at a wall
with a hole in it. Go through that hole in the median strip and go right.
Send your guys ahead of you to take care of any soldiers that appear. Do NOT
let them go alone farther then the bus though or they will more then likely be
killed. You will want to send them ahead of you down the highway past the
bus in a group and you can follow behind them as the first few may get hit.
I say this because there is a rocket launcher soldier that is behind the bus
you will want to take him out very quickly as he is a very good shot if you
take too long to kill him. Once you have gotten past him follow the median to
your right until you see the hole in the fence at the top of the median.
Climb over that part of that wall and You can see the flag on top of the
Power station here. You will need to clear this front area of the building
before you can go into the building. Manual aim and send your troops to get
the guy at the machine gun on the green defensive platform near the building.
6. Go through the yard towards the building once the area is safe and go to
your right under the archway of the building. To your right will be a Sewer
Entrance, medic kits and some wounded soldiers if you need more to join you.
To your left you can enter the Power Station. Send your troops in first to
clear the way of course. Once inside head to the left for a rocket launcher
or medic kits or to the right down the hallway to continue on. Turn left and
in this next room you can sneak to the left along the wall. You will probably
be noticed though. If you have your troops following you they should protect
you. Follow the wall all the way to an open door. Go in that door and up the
stairs. Send your guys up the stairs first to clear any remaining soldiers
and go to the roof with these stairs. Hoist the U.S. flag on the flagpole
to your left.
Mission Complete!
7. Go to the "Warehouse District" now.
Area 5: "Warehouse District"
1. Recruit all the guys near this sewer entrance. Put them all on defend and
go over to the first bridge you blew up. drop down into the water below and
go left. Get on the ledge with the stairs on it. Sneak up the stairs and
climb up behind the soldier. Shoot him with a head shot to take him down
quickly and sneak to your left. Let the soldiers patrolling the street go
past your position (if they are near you) before going along the wall towards
the street they are patrolling. Follow this wall around the big building past
the area with the prisoners. You shouldn't be noticed at all if you are
sneaking the whole way. You will eventually see a Watch tower that a soldier
is on. Just sneak past it to the left and you will see an opening that goes
out to some water. Sneak along the red wall on that little ledge that goes
along the waters edge (you are basically sneaking into the prisoner area the
back way). You may want to call your soldiers to you if you haven't done so
already it will take them awhile to get to where you are as they have to go
the long way. If you time it just right you can have them get here right when
your about to release the prisoners.
2. You will eventually come to a little dock area with one solider guarding
it. Sneak up behind him and give him a head shot or just take him out quickly
(whichever you can do). You will see a wounded soldier to your left don't get
him yet. Instead, go back to that red wall you were going along and follow it
up the hill towards the prisoners cage. You should see two soldiers guarding
the prisoners in front of you if you turn the camera a little. Before you
reach where they are there is a small opening to your right that you want to
go into You will notice there is a sewer entrance here. You will also see a
Electric power generator (with a big red/pink light) that you want to set
your C4 on to deactivate the electricity in the fence surrounding the
prisoners. Set the C4 and go to the wounded soldier on the dock to heal him.
You will now want to take care of the soldiers guarding the prisoners from a
distance. Go towards the prison door and turn to your right take care of the
three soldiers here. The wounded soldier should be helping you with the ones
on the ground you mainly will need to take care of the one on the watch
tower. This is only if your troops haven't showed up yet.
3. Go over to the prison door and open it. Take the prisoners to the sewer
entrance near the electric power generator you blew up. Protect the prisoners
from any soldiers that may show up.
4. Go back to where you climbed out of the water area near the first bridge
you blew up. Use the stairs here to get to the train tracks. Take care of all
the soldiers you find on the train tracks (even the ones farther down the
tracks). You do this to make sure they don't shoot you later when you are
entering the warehouse. Watch out for the train of course also. You will also
want to take out as many soldiers as you can from up here (any that you can
see down below).
5. Once you have taken care of them go down the stairs and to your left you
should see to your left a women walking around. Go over and talk to her.
Follow her and go into the building she shows you. If you did this already
just go to the door that she showed you. Go into the building and take care
of the soldiers outside of the door to your right. Once this place is clear
go out the door and to your left through the gap in the wall. To your left is
the warehouse. Go towards it taking out any remaining soldiers in your way.
Once you have cleared the area of soldiers go into the big warehouse door
after sending your troops inside first. Go up the ramp to your right and turn
around. You will see the stairs that lead to the roof to your right in the
corner. After you reach the top of those stairs you will find the final
stairs up to the roof behind you. Send your troops out here and towards
the flagpole there are quite a few elite soldiers here to ambush you. Once
you have taken care of all of them Hoist up the U.S. Flag on the flagpole.
Mission Complete!
6. If you have not completed the Movie Theater you will want to do so now.
Area 3: "Movie Theater"
1. You should start in the parking garage now.
2. Recruit all that you can here and pick up medic kits if you need to. Turn
around and send your troops to the red building you can see just over the taxi
up the ramp to your right. That is the Movie theater. Follow the troops and
when you get to the top of the ramp take out the sniper to your left if he
hasn't already been killed. Use the sniper rifle he has and aim far down the
left side of the street to that green watch tower. Give that guy a head shot
and then give anyone else you feel like giving one to also. Once you have
used all the bullets up go towards that green watch tower. Send your troops
towards the car near the corner. Don't let them go around the corner as there
is a machine gunner around the corner. Use the over turned car as the corner
as cover and throw a grenade at the machine gun guy once it explodes quickly
send your guys towards the machine gun guy to kill all the soldiers there. Go
down this street and to the right where a hole in the building is. Make your
way through the hallways of this building. To your right at the last hallway
you will find recruits and supplies. To your left is the door going outside.
3.Go to the doorway just DO NOT go out yet first send your guys to the green
defensive platform that you see in front of you (once you turned left at the
top of the stairs). Once they are there quickly go over there also and climb
to the top have all of them defend the top of this platform. You will want to
kill the guy on the platform directly across from you. This place is
basically a major war zone bullets flying everywhere. I recommend using your
grenades and take out that little square area with all the machine guns next
to that platform across from you. Once you have taken care of most of the
enemy soldiers send your troops either to that platform across from you or
that square area with the machine guns (just to make sure no more enemy
soldiers will use it). You will want to take notice of the opened backdoor
of the Movie theater that is where you need to go.
4. Once you have made it into that door go to your left and go towards the
wall Manual aim through the door to your right and send your troops to the
door on the far side of the theater. Go through that door (You can find
supplies in this room) and go to your left. You will see an open door ahead
of you. Go up the stairs and through the hallways to a large room. To your
right there is a winding staircase that goes up to the roof. Send your troops
out the door and follow them out to the roof. Go around the roof to the left
to Hoist the U.S. Flag up the flagpole.

Chapter 4: "Desperate Revenge"

Area 1: "Governor’s Island Rebel Base"
1, Go over to the map to have a caucus.
2. Go and get the sniper rifle from the supply area and then use the map
to go to the "Naval Base".
Area 2: "Governor’s Island Naval Base"
1. Go up the stairs in front of you and stop right before you reach the top
to not let the soldiers see you. I recommend using your molotovs on these
soldiers. Try to throw your molotov as quickly as you can in the direction
the soldiers are coming from to hit all three of them when they are together.
You will want to keep the sniper rifle for the moment. Go near the boxes the
soldiers came from. From here you should be able to see with your sniper
rifle a watch tower/sniper tower to your right near the waters edge. Headshot
the guy in there with your sniper rifle. Now move your scope to the left a
bit and down and you should see one of those green defensive platforms with a
guy on it do the same to him.
2. Move to your guy to the right and then aim your sniper rifle at the green
defensive platform to your left to take down the guy standing near the
searchlight. There will also be two guards patrolling around that platform
you can take care of when they are in view (You may not want to kill either
of those two soldiers though if you do this right now it will more then
likely bring unwanted attention to yourself). You are taking out the soldiers
that may otherwise annoy you later in the mission. You will want to save a
few bullets though like 4 or so.
3. Once you have gotten rid of as many soldiers as you would like go around
this circular building on your left to find a door to enter it. Change to
your handgun.
4. Go inside the circular building and climb the stairs you find inside to
the top. Sneak up on the sniper and give him a headshot he is over looking
the next area you will be going to. Pick up the ammo for the sniper rifle.
You can try taking out more soldiers from here if you want. If you do this
though they will more then likely know where and come after you.
5. Leave this building the way you came in. Outside of the door look to your
right and you will see a searchlight. Climb/jump up on the wall between the
shipping container and the searchlight. Before you do this though go back and
pick up the assault rifles from those soldiers you killed earlier (just
remember where you left the sniper rifle). Once you have done that go to that
wall I mentioned earlier and sneak along this wall. Go past this first
shipping container. Climb up on the next shipping container that is going
along this wall.
6. Jump to the shipping container to your right. Turn to your right and you
should see a soldier here (he is usually stuck in the wall). To your left
you will see the next part you will be going to. Wait until more soldiers
show up patrolling the area near that one soldier and use a molotov to take
out as many of them at once as you can. Use your assault rifle to take care
of any remaining soldiers. If you don't need to use your assault rifle to
take these soldiers out you can probably keep your sniper rifle with you (I
just used a few molotvs and grenades and wiped them out).
7. Facing the tree you see from on top of this container you need to go
around that wall to the left of it to find some stairs. At the top of the
stairs are some first aid kits. Turn to your right and you should see two
soldiers patrolling. If not, wait a bit and they should show up. Sneak up
and shoot them or use a grenade or molotovs if you have any left. Once you
have taken care of them go on the other side of that container they were
guarding and climb over the wall you find here. Before you do this though
be sure to go and get your sniper rifle again. Once on the other side of the
wall you will see a Sewer Entrance near you. Look to your right you will see
three soldiers here in the alley. Use your handgun and aim for the barrel to
the left of the soldiers. Blow it up and that should take care of them or run
up to them and finish them off.
8. Save at this sewer Entrance and continue down this path\alleyway. Pick up
an assault rifle before going though. You should have about four or five more
shots in your sniper rifle at this time. I recommend saving them until you
need it. To your left will be a small alley with two soldiers that you want
to take out with their backs to you. Keep going the same way you were going
and up ahead is a machine gun area with many soldiers you will want to take
out any soldiers that are near you and move up towards that machine gun area
while avoiding the gun fire from it.
9. Throw a grenade over to it and take out any remaining soldiers with your
assault rifle. Go to the machine gun area and to your right will be three
more soldiers standing around. Take care of them however you want. Go down
this alley they were guarding and sneak over to the small wall that you can
see over. You should see a single soldier here with his back to you. Take him
out with the assault rifle and then go and get your sniper rifle again. Go
back to that small wall and from here shoot the remaining snipers in those
high towers along the edge of the water in the distance. The main one you
want to shoot is the one in the right tower as you will need to climb up
into it in a minute. Once you have done that go over to the Sewer Entrance
near you to save (check the map if you need to).
10. If you had enough bullets to take all the snipers out you will want to
get more ammo for the sniper rifle if you ran out from the green defensive
platform that you shot the guy earlier. Go under the Left tower and look to
your right you should see a balcony overlooking a large search light. Use
your sniper rifle and Zoom in on the balcony to the left of that very big
search light you can see from here. You will see Tatarin pacing back and
forth on this balcony. Take a headshot to him when he is standing still.
11. Quickly climb down the ladder and quickly make your way back to the boat
that you started this mission from. You can either swim or go back the way
you got here from just avoid the chopper's fire. Go back to the "Rebel Base"

Chapter 5: "Rebel Base"

(Note: You may want to figure out your own tactics for this mission as I
don't think I explained it very well down below just to warn you.)
Area 1. "Sewers Rebel Base"
1. Quickly take cover behind a wall you will see in front of you some
soldiers you need to kill. Use the sniper rifle to pick them off and you
will also want to use the explosive barrel to the left to help you. Once you
have killed them cross over to where they were and grab any Medic Kits you
find here before going into the tunnel. Pick up the assault rifles also.
Follow this tunnel killing the guys along the way and when you reach the
stairs go back for your sniper rifle. Go back to the stairs and go half way
up to see the end of the tunnel. Use your sniper rifle to pick the guys off
the soldiers one at a time. Once you have done that you may want to use your
pistol and go to the end of the tunnel to finish off any remaining soldiers
near the exit of this tunnel. Take care of the soldiers to your left.
Climb up the ladder near them and you will see two tunnels in. Before you go
into either one turn around and kill the soldier behind you by shooting the
barrel.
2. The two tunnels go to the same place I recommend using the left. Before
you enter that tunnel use your grenades or molotovs to clear the room at the
end of the tunnel. Once you have cleared it pick up any items you need in
here (I recommend getting the rocket launcher). Go to where the soldier was
near the ladder and shoot all the soldiers you can see down below near the
tunnel opening to the left. (Use the rocket launcher on them it's fun just
aim for the wall behind them so the blast will throw them in the water. If
you want to save the rockets for later just use one of your other guns to
take out those guys). Go back down the ladder and continue to your right.
3. Make your way across that broken bridge to your right. I recommend having
an assault rifle at this point as the ammo is plentiful with all the guys you
killed. Go into the tunnel on the other side and go to your right up the
stairs. You should see a sign that says "Upper Tunnel System" at the top of
the stairs to know your going the right way. Follow this tunnel to the end
killing off any soldiers you run into. There are many here you may need to
use quite a few medic kits. You shouldn't run out as they are guarding quite
a few Medic Kits also. When you come out of the tunnel you will be in a big
cavern. Shoot any guard you can from up here before making your way down the
ledge going around to your right (before dropping down you may want your
Rocket Launcher soon. Drop down onto the large pipe from the ledge and drop
off the end of the pipe to your left. Go through the pipe and look to your
left at the end of the pipe. You should see a dark hole in the wall there is
a soldier down some stairs in that hole throw a grenade in there and go in
shooting. Follow this tunnel to a room full of soldiers take care of them and
go left (You may want to use your rocket launcher before going in that room
to clear it). Before you go into the next room look into it. You will see a
new soldier with armor. You will either want to give him some headshots or
blow him up (Use the Rocket Launcher hint hint). Grab his machine gun for the
next room. Continue down the tunnel and into the next room will be more of
these armored/non-armored soldiers do the same thing to them and clear the
room of soldiers. I will list a few ways you can clear that room:
Use the Sniper rifle to pick guys off a few at a time.
Use the Rocket Launcher on both armored and non-armored guys.
Once you get a machine gun from one of the Armored guys use that gun against
other armored guys.
4. Sneak into this room and don't get the attention of the soldiers to your
right. Continue to the far side of this area and climb up on the ledge to
your right. Go in the doorway to your left and follow this hallway to some
Freedom Fighters (It's about time!!)
