Dying Light’s Physical Release Delayed in Some Regions

If you were looking forward to playing Dying Light in Europe, Australia, Africa, Asia and the Middle East you might need to look into going digital because the physical release has been delayed slightly according to the developers. On the official Dying Light Facebook Page it was announced that due to some production issues the game will see a slight delay in those regions in a physical form, but the digital version will release on January 27th as previously planned. Details on what caused the delay and when the physical version will be available in those regions was not mentioned.

Here is the announcement post in full:

There will be a short delay in the release of physical copies of Dying Light in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. The game will have a global digital release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC of January 27, 2015. As physical production has a longer lead time than digital there is some delay in the aforementioned territories. We will share information on the availability of physical copies as soon as it is confirmed.”

North America was not mentioned and appears to be safe from the delays other regions are facing.
