Screencheat Coming to PS4

Get ready to break the holy rule of not looking at your friend’s side of the screen when playing splitscreen because Screencheat is coming to the PlayStation 4. Screencheat is an old school shooter where everyone is invisible and the only way to determine your opponent’s location is by peaking at their screen. Screncheat features 2-4 players offline and 2-8 players online. Online play even includes the other player’s screens too so the game stays true to its name even over the network. Screencheat includes 10 colorful maps to run around in and 10 weapons to destroy your foes.

Here is the original reveal trailer from last year.

I had the chance to play Screencheat at PAX Prime last year and had a blast with the game and even brought my friends to the Samurai Punk booth a couple times throughout the weekend. The game brought back memories of playing Goldeneye 64 with friends and the added twist of everyone being invisible just brought a new fun and silly element to experience.

There is currently no release date set for Screencheat on the PS4, but the game is currently available on Steam.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
