Sample the Future of Just Dance with Free Demo Out Now

Showcased over the past few months, the new Just Dance, Just Dance 2016, removes the need to buy extra dedicated hardware to just dance, as long as you have an Android or iOS smart device already, and right now, interested parties can check out a small sample of what camera-less Just Dance can be like as Ubisoft has released a free, one song demo on the PlayStation Store, XBOX One store, and Wii U eShop.

First go to the app store for your Android or Apple smartphone and download the Just Dance Controller app. Next, download the Just Dance 2016 demo onto your console of choice. Then, if you haven’t already, connect both the smart device and console to the same Wi-Fi network and there you go, using your phone like a big Wiimote (hold on tight), dancing to “Blame” by Calvin Harris Ft. John Newman like it’s some time past October 20th.

Of course, that’s when the full game comes out later this year, featuring 40 new tracks ranging from Billboard hits to classic throwback favorites, from artists like Mark Ronson Ft. Bruno Mars, Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, Calvin Harris Ft. John Newman and Lady Gaga. The demo is only for current/new-gen consoles, but Just Dance 2016 will also be out on PS3, XBOX360 and Wii as well, though those console versions will not support the Just Dance Controller app, and while the Controller app is only on Android and iOS right now, it’ll be on Windows Phones too soon.

A student of games, I play a bit of everything because I like to see what’s out there. Nothing better than first hand experience when it comes to knowing about games. Current game obsession: Anything MOBA (Paragon, Battleborn, Heroes of the Storm), except, ironically, the most popular ones, LoL and DOTA2.
