PAX 2015: Hands-On Super Dungeon Bros.

Finally, in my last appointment of PAX 2015 day one, I saw Super Dungeon Bros. Andy played this game and did a fairly extensive write-up of the game at E3 2015, so I won’t re-hash it all here.

I got to play the game with two representatives at PAX, and it was certainly a lot of fun. It reminded me a lot of a mix between Gauntlet and the Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. I really enjoyed the competitive element to it, in that you can choose to work together as a team, but still complete for points and things.

I also thought it was pretty funny that you can pick up other players and throw them to solve puzzles, or to be a jerk and throw them off a cliff. The game looks like it’s going to be a fun co-op party game to play with your friends.

Super Dungeon Bros. is set to come out this Winter to PS4, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Mac.
