Life is Strange Limited Edition Now Available!


The great thing about great games is that people tend to really love them. And the recent physical release of one of the surprise hits of 2015 from DONTNOD should be no different. But don’t take my word for it, read Keith’s episode reviews for yourself!

The Life is Strange physical release is now available at retailers such as Amazon or directly from the Square-Enix storefront. Available in either Standard or Limited Editions, retailing for $29.99 & $39.99 respectively, each version comes with a physical PS4 disc containing all 5 episodes from the series. The Limited Edition sees the inclusion of a 32 page art book, a CD soundtrack featuring 14 licensed tracks from the official soundtrack & 8 tracks from the game’s composer and finally a directors’ commentary.

The Limited Edition boxed version of DONTNOD’s multi award-winning episodic adventure LIFE IS STRANGE is available today in the US and on Friday, January 22 in EU and other PAL territories for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

“If you’d have told me this time last year that, a year later, Life is Strange would be winning prestigious awards and topping Game of the Year lists I’m not sure I’d allow myself to believe you!” explained Luc Baghadoust, Producer at DONTNOD Entertainment. “The Limited Edition is our way of saying thank you to everyone who’s supported us along the way.”

The standard boxed edition includes all 5 episodes spanning Max and Chloe’s story. The Limited Edition also includes a directors’ commentary, a physical 32-page art book, and 14 licensed tracks from the game’s official soundtrack as well as 8 tracks from the game’s composer Jonathan Morali. LIFE IS STRANGE follows the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price. The pair soon finds themselves investigating the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber, uncovering a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay. As well as winning Develop’s New Games IP and Use of Narrative awards, the Golden Joystick’s Performance of the Year and The Game Awards’ Games for Impact Award, LIFE IS STRANGE has been the recipient of over 30 Game of the Year awards, and featured in countless top ten lists and reader-voted Game of the Year lists.
