3D PlayStation 4 Games

Did you know the PlayStation 4 is 3D compatible? Your HDTV might be as well. Aside from watching the many 3D movies available, there are also some games that you can play using those cool glasses. Sadly most developers do not take advantage of this feature that can really add to the enjoyment of many games if implemented properly.

Below is a list of every 3D enabled PlayStation 4 game available, and if we have it, a review for the game as well. Let us know if we missed any and we will update the list and endeavor to add a review for it too. We also compiled a local co-op list of PS4 games.

Review: Bound (PS4/PSVR)

Why not experience a different kind of game?

Review: KickBeat: Special Edition (PS4)

Perhaps it’s due to the improved visuals, perhaps it’s due to the PS4 edition being streamlined and therefore not trying to do anything it doesn’t do perfectly. Whatever the case, this Special Edition is better than its predecessors.

Review: CastleStorm: Definitive Edition (PS4)

Zen Studios brings the Definitive Edition of their uniquely charming CastleStorm game to the PlayStation 4 with added bells and whistles.

Review: Daylight (PS4)

A cell phone, some glow sticks and some flares are all that stand between you and the darkness. Maybe you should just throw them all away.

Just to let you know, many sites mistakenly report Mekazoo to be 3D compatible on the PS4, I checked and it isn’t.

After reading a comment by trethacker regarding Fez being 3D compatible I thought it best to clear some things up. According to the developers at Polytron, “3D is only activated when you finished the game twice, which means you need to get a 200% of completion to see the game in 3D”. Sony requires the 3D functionality to be listed in the Store but it’s only supposed to be an easter egg.

Do you play any games in 3D? Do you want more games to be 3D compatible? Let us know in the Forums or on Twitter using #AskPSNation.
