Battlefield V Reveal Details and Trailer

EA unveiled the next Battlefield game with a casual talk show format hosted by Trevor Noah and it was here we got the first details on Battlefield V.

Battlefield V will take place during World War II and features a single player campaign. This single player content will continue the “War Stories” format from Battlefield 1 and will explore untold stories from World War II.

The multiplayer will see changes to Operations mode which is now called “Grand Operations” and will be multi-structured with various modes within it including something called “The Last Stand.” “The Last Stand” will put pressure on players with limited ammo and no respawns.

Company customization will allow players to make unique looks for their squad and standout on the battlefield. Whether standing out is a good thing or not is yet to be determined.

Building is being added to Battlefield with fortifications. Let’s be honest we love blowing stuff up in Battlefield games, it’s one of Dice’s strong suits, but now players can build to help change the battlefield. It isn’t full blown Fortnite, it’s more about building structures to create cover or obstacles to slow down the opposition.

And finally, there will be no Premium Pass for Battlefield V. All future expansions will be available to all players, preventing the community from fracturing.

The full reveal event is available on the official Battlefield YouTube Channel and it’s posted below if you’d like to watch it here.

Battlefield V is set to launch on October 19th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Just a nerd from the Windy City. I’m actually really bad at describing myself because I get all self-critical and self-conscious. Follow me on Twitter, @The1stMJC, to see my borderline insane rants on tv shows and other non important subjects. If I’m not tweeting I’m probably just watching Buffy or Firefly for the millionth time.
