E3 2018: Hands-On Video – For Honor Breach Mode
A new free add-on called Marching Fire was announced at E3 for the Ubisoft action game For Honor. This will bring a new faction from China along with a new 4v4 PvP mode called Breach.
Breach is a full-on castle assault with teams broken into attackers and defenders. Communication and strategy are critical as the attackers need to escort a massive battering ram to break down the outer wall and inner gate of a castle. Once inside, the attacking team needs to defeat the defender’s Lord which is an AI boss.
For my playthrough, my first time playing For Honor, I was on the attacking team. Each side had a developer coordinating the overall strategy, telling people where to go and what to do, but it was still up to us to execute the plan.
My utter lack of knowledge and my given instructions combined in a hilarious way as I attacked my own AI archers at several points. I was however able to hold out and came within a few swings of landing the killing blow on the enemy Lord. Check it out below.
